Additional costs
Police check
Every participant must have a valid police check that is current as of September of the year in which they are applying.
Visa Interview
The SEVIS I-901 fee must be paid prior to your embassy appointment and it is necessary to have the receipt for payment with you when you attend your appointment.
Medical Insurance
You are required to have medical insurance in effect for yourself (J-1)
Fights
Once your spot at camp has been confirmed and you know your start date, you must schedule your return flights to the United States!
Pocket Money
Personal Funds
According to Visa regulations, you must have $1,500 in personal funds, including any credit card balances.
