1. WHAT ARE THESE

1.1 Please take time to read these Terms of Use. By using the SportUSA Camps website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. DEFINITIONS

The following terms are used throughout:

  • “Content” – Any material you post, including text, images, documents, or videos
  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” – SportUSA Camps Limited and/or its parent or sister companies
  • “Website” – Any website operated by SportUSA Camps
  • “You”, “Your” – The user of the website

3. USE OF THE WEBSITE

3.1 Using this website means you accept these Terms.
3.2 We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice.
3.3 English law governs these Terms.

4. YOUR ACCOUNT

4.1 To post or access services, you must create an account with accurate info.
4.2 You’re responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
4.3 If someone else uses your account, you are liable for their actions. 🔒

5. ALLOWED CONTENT

5.1 Only post content you own or have rights to.
5.3 By posting, you grant SportUSA Camps a global, royalty-free license to display and use your content for promotional purposes.

6. PROHIBITED CONTENT

Do not post content that:

  • Is illegal, offensive, or misleading
  • Infringes on others’ rights
  • Contains malware or spam
  • Is commercial or advertising
  • Harms the community or SportUSA Camps

We reserve the right to remove any content at any time.

7. COMPLAINTS

7.1 You may report inappropriate content.
7.2 If valid, we’ll remove it — but we are not liable for user-generated content.
7.3 Misuse of the complaints system may result in being banned.

8. DISCLAIMERS

8.1 While we aim to provide a safe experience, we can’t guarantee:

  • Uptime or continuous access
  • No viruses or malware
  • Accuracy of user-posted content
  • Legality of access from outside the UK

9. OUR RIGHTS

9.1 All trademarks, designs, and code on the site are owned by SportUSA Camps.
9.2 You may not reuse any content without written permission.
9.4 We may request you remove external links to our site.

10. YOUR LIABILITY TO US

If your actions (or content) cause SportUSA Camps any legal or financial harm, you agree to compensate us.
 This includes if someone claims your content infringes their rights. 🔒

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

11.1 Except where legally required, we are not liable for:

  • Business loss, profits, data, or savings
  • Software/hardware damage
  • Reputational harm
  • Indirect or consequential damages

12. PRIVACY

12.1 Any content you post may be visible to the public.

13. LEGAL STUFF

13.1 These Terms + Privacy Policy govern your use of the site.
13.2 They still apply even if your account is deleted or terminated.
13.3 Not acting immediately on a breach doesn’t waive our right to act later.
13.4 Notices will be sent to the email you used to register.

13.6 We may transfer our rights without notice; you cannot without consent.
13.7 If a part of this agreement is unenforceable, the rest remains valid.
13.8 Your use of the site doesn’t make you a representative of SportUSA Camps.

14. DISPUTES

14.1 We’ll try to resolve issues through communication first.
14.2 Disputes will be governed by English law, and handled in English courts.

15. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

This section is specific to how SportUSA Camps operates and is critical. ⚠️

  1. Your program officially begins when your deposit is paid.
    • The 14-day cooling-off period and chargebacks do not apply.
  2. All fees are non-refundable.
  3. Rolled-over applications from previous seasons are also non-refundable.
  4. Changes to your application after acceptance that hurt your chances of placement may result in withdrawal without refund.
  5. Fees for criminal background checks, health forms, visa processing, etc., are non-refundable — SportUSA Camps is not responsible.
  6. If you are not placed by July 7 (of the program year), you’ll be withdrawn and refunded minus a £100 admin fee, once the DS2019 form is returned.
    • If you are unresponsive or reject placements, you forfeit any refund.
  7. If your visa is denied, fees are non-refundable.
    • Visa applications made outside your home country carry extra risk.
  8. If cancelled due to external events (pandemics, natural disasters, government restrictions):

No refund, but 40% credit (excluding travel/visa/SEVIS) can be applied to another SportUSA Camps program within 12 months.
